the latest mame2003_plus_libretro.so needs a little patch(retroarch core-options) to recognize of directional keys of GameShell
* update launcher to the latest
* use Settings->Retro cores manager to delete `mame2003_plus_libretro.so`
* back to Retro Games->MAME, setup game enigne again, the patch will be done after downloading autoly
in the folder `~/.config/retroarch` there will be a `retroarch-core-options.cfg` contains the patch for mame2003_plus
