It was no longer building and will be removed in the next
upstream version.

It doesn't provide a way to enable or disable gobject-introspection
support for poppler. Toggle it respect to variable GI_DATA_ENABLED.

Adjust the basename-include patch to deal with upstream change
of introducing goo/gbasename.cc.
Drop 0001-glib-CMakeLists.txt-Add-libpoppler-to-link-along-wit.patch
since that was done upstream in:
9481c473 glib: pass poppler to gir libs.

Turn the patch from a workaround into a proper fix. It was submitted to poppler
bugzilla - but after endless discussions I won't follow this further.

getVar() now defaults to expanding by default, thus remove the True
option from getVar() calls with a regex search and replace.
Search made with the following regex: getVar ?\(( ?[^,()]*), True\)

The poppler-data package contains data needed by consumers of
the libpoppler package, for example evince. However, the RDEPENDS in
this recipe is only for the poppler package. Moving the RDEPENDS to
libpoppler ensures that poppler-data is included in any builds with
separate libpoppler consumers but not poppler. The poppler package
automatically depends on libpoppler so poppler's dependency on
poppler-data is not lost.

These changes allow the poppler package to build using qt4e.
To enable them, add this line to local.conf
PACKAGECONFIG_append_pn-poppler = " qt4e"
